Half of this short was filmed in the now-demolished Main Art Theater in Royal Oak, Michigan. This theater showed films for over 80 years. From 2007 through the beginning of Covid, it truly was a sanctuary for me and some of my closest friends. I did live in LA from 2015 to 2018, but whenever I was home, this was where I saw so many incredible foreign, indie, and arthouse films that shaped my life. I will always be thankful we were able to capture its beauty.
